I've always been enchanted with the historic streets of downtown St. Charles, Missouri. There's just something about those cobblestone streets, its rich history and particularly the inviting community that make you feel like you're in a Hallmark movie. Or…perhaps a scene out of a book?
Especially now as the fall begins to set in and the holidays approach, those beautiful streets seem to come alive with magic and tradition. Romance and mystery fill practically every part of the city. And with that, I believe in my heart of hearts that I couldn't have picked a better setting for my paranormal romance novel, The Pavers.
One of my favorite scenes in The Pavers takes place in the historic district. I won't be revealing any spoilers, but I'm proud to say my main character has a powerful experience in the heart of those charming streets.
As part of my book launch campaign, I wanted to pay my deepest respects to the city and community that inspired me. As we wait until the book's official release date in February, I'll be featuring various shops and businesses that call historic St. Charles their home.
If there are any business owners interested in participating, please fill out the contact form or email me at danahoffauthor@gmail.com.
