Every morning, on my way to work, I wonder where all the commuters are going. I like to make up stories for each driver as I go... just trying to imagine life outside of my own little box. Are they headed to work too? Are they about to embark on a journey across the country? Are they about to take a big risk or are they contemplating some hard decisions? Are they visiting a loved one, or maybe they just hopped in the car and hoped they'd figure out where they were going as they drove.
I believe everyone's path is paved with care and incredible intention whether we realize it or not. Some seem to know exactly where they're headed from day one. Others seem to follow the flow, and roll with each day that comes. And then, of course, there's people like me who are somewhere in the middle where they think they've got it figured out one day, and are completely lost the next.
Maybe I'm nosy, or maybe it's just the writer in me, but I am so deeply curious about the stories behind each path. How did you figure out your life's direction? How did you know what you wanted to do professionally? How did you meet that special someone? Was there a defining moment that pulled it all together, or did it happen over a series of small, unassuming moments. I want to know how you paved your path.
